Prerequisite: You should have completed the 'Speaking up safely' course before starting this course.

About the course: 

This course provides a more in-depth learning about giving feedback and explores in detail the BUILD feedback model and the ABC model of appreciation.

You will understand how judgments can often play a role in giving the wrong kind of feedback and how to avoid this. 

You will also be able to practice and prepare for using these models in their lives and create an action plan moving forward.

In this course you will explore what bullying really is.  You will get a deep understanding of the effects bullying has on the targets, the accused, and the witness.  You are introduced to:

• the 5 step approach, together with guides for each step, for Respectful Resolution starting with ways to create a safe culture as a team

• how to guides for managers, targets, the accused, and the witness to help deal with any poor behaviour, bullying, or incivility

• the foundations of kinder feedback

• tools to prevent and tackle bullying behaviours.
