Audience

Paediatric Nurses at Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua: MidCentral who are certifying in Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs) and are due their three yearly recertification.

This course comprises:

• A module about what nursing responsibilities, a description of what CVADs are and what ones we use at MidCentral, Infection and Prevention, Complications of CVADs.
• A quiz to consolidate knowledge.
• Feedback
• Certificate

Frequency

Enhanced learning to be completed on initial certification and then every three years.
