This learning experience is aimed at midwives and nurses working in maternity units, and other health professionals who are responders for escalation when triggers are identified.

What

If you have worked through this content, referred to the observation chart whilst doing so, and successfully completed the practice activities, you will have a good understanding of how and when to record the results of your observations. You will understand the scoring system and will be able to escalate any non-zero results appropriately.
