This course is designed for paediatric nurses working within the community assessing children and young people, as well as for paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Nurse specialists who are wanting to be able to waitlist children and young people for grommets +/- adenoidectomy.

About:
This course is designed to increase nursing knowledge and skill set when assessing ear health and hearing of children and young people, including being able to identify common ear health issues and treatment of these. For those ENT Nurse specialists, this course consolidates and builds on prior knowledge of ear health and hearing assessment skills and is designed to be done prior to getting signed off to be able to manage children and young people with otitis media with effusion (OME) under the regional OME pathway.
