Audience All nurses beginning work in the MidCentral District need to complete this education module within the first 6 weeks of employment. Course Description The purpose of this course is to ensure that registered nurses (RNs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) work within their scope of practice and are aware of their accountabilities and responsibilities when delegating client care activities to other RNs, enrolled nurses (ENs), health care assistants (HCAs), casual/relief staff, student nurses, honorary staff and clients/family/whānau. To ensure RNs, ENs, HCAs, casual and relief staff are aware of their responsibilities and accountabilities when delegated activities by the registered nurse, nurse practitioner or other health professional.Time allocation |
