Welcome to the Delirium Management package - An early identification & intervention e-learning course.

This course is suitable for all health workers who are involved in patient care across secondary, primary and residential care facilities.

Delirium could happen to your mother, your brother or you!

On completion of this course you will have the knowledge and skills to early identify those patients that are potentially at risk of developing delirium. You will be able to competently assess patients using the Confusion assessment method (CAM). You will be able to put simple interventions in place that can minimise and reverse the course of delirium. These interventions will assist re-orientation of patients in partnership with the patient, whanau and family. You will be able to effectively communicate about patients with delirium across the care continuum.
