This course is for all MidCentral staff. 

Every year, patients fall and these falls can result in serious consequences for both them and their families/whanau. 

Aims:

The course objectives are to:

• Remind you of the importance of protecting patients from falling
• Revise factors that contribute to a patients individual falls risk
• Revise tools and resources available to minimise falls risk for patients

Please note: The intent of this module is to refresh existing knowledge, and support your high standard of practice.
