Registered Nurse and Midwives seeking re-certification in epidural & neuraxial management at MidCentral DHB

Introduction

Aim: To ensure Registered Nurses/Midwifes have the knowledge and skills required to facilitate adult Epidural & Neuraxial Pain Management.  

This recertification includes 20 multi choice questions focusing on:

Epidural Infusion; Patient Controlled Epidural Analgesia (PCEA); & Neuraxial Morphine.

Frequency

This course is to be completed every three years, after completing the initial epidural & neuraxial certification
