Immunisation Guidelines


This course is designed for the education and upskilling of immunisation nurses and other Registered Healthcare practitioners

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

•  Identify evidence-based strategies to achieve immunisation equity and high coverage for population health

•  Review evidence-based strategies to maximise immunisation timeliness

•  Outline targeted strategies to increase immunisation coverage for key population immunisation programmes i.e., influenza, HPV, MMR

•  Identify appropriate information to provide to decliners

•  Discuss strategies for overcoming immunisation barriers and misinformation

•  Proactively seek to improve immunisation communication

•  Describe resilient, evidence-based strategies for vaccine acceptance

•  Review catch-up immunisation and other variations to the standard immunisation schedule
