Audience

This course is appropriate for Radiation Oncology staff

• Radiation Therapists (Mandatory)
• Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Registrars (Optional)

On completion of this module, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the RCTS (Lung) SBRT Protocol and technique workflow including:

• Patient eligibility
• Prescription
• Immobilisation equipment
• Planning technique
• Treatment and CBCT imaging

Once completed Radiation Therapists will have further training with the treatment trainer to demonstrate the skills of CBCT soft tissue matching while understanding the implications of Hyper-fractionation dose tolerances to other proximal OARs identified by the planner.

Time allocation

This course is eligible for 3 hours of Continuing Professional Development time under the e-learning category of a CPD programme.

Learners must start and finish this course in the same calendar year.
