This course, consisting of three modules, has been designed to support health care professionals when caring for patients who have had or will have a Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) inserted.

Audience

MidCentral Registered Nurses and Midwives completing Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) and Midline Catheter Management Certification.

Frequency

This course is required to be repeated every 3 years as part of the re-certification/re-validation process for Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) and Midline Catheter Management.  You must complete the course in the same calendar year as it was started.

Time allocation
2 hours

Learners must start and finish this course in the same calendar year.
