This course is intended to enable and empower RNs and Renal Clinical Physiologists working in the Haemodialysis Unit to develop the assessment skills for vascular access for patients undergoing haemodialysis.

By completing the training the staff will gain the knowledge to identify any complications related to the Renal vascular access. Undertaking the second module ‘Basic Ultrasound Physics & Knobology for Renal Vascular Access’ is recommended to acquire further assessment skills
