This is the annual “Blood Component & Product Collection from Wairoa Hospital Laboratory” competency, required to be completed by Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Associates in the Wairoa Health Centre who have had initial training and are now maintaining their annual competency.

This is a requirement as per “Blood – Collection from the Laboratory” Policy IVTG400. Please allow time during each step for auto fill of the learning slides to obtain the full information before completing the online assessment (Quiz).

It is strongly recommended to also read the above mentioned policy available on “Our Hub” within the Policy & Procedures section.

The module and quiz is estimated to take between 20 – 30 minutes to complete.
