Whakaminenga / Who is this for: This course is for advanced responders who may be expected to manage and supervise resuscitation events. CORE Advanced is intended for advanced providers of resuscitation. Pre-course reading covers all the required knowledge to provide advanced resuscitation to manage the adult and paediatric patient and students will learn advanced resuscitation skills as well as attend assessments

About: 

Kaimahi revisit Māori culture values, and the importance of cultural competence and safety within the workplace. This training addresses cultural responsiveness through understanding individuals, whānau and their whakapapa utilising a Māori Model of Health. It demystifies giving clear understanding to Te Wakaminenga, Declaration of Independence 1935, and Te Tiriti O Waitangi 1940. The values of Tikanga will be revisited and explored.
