Kaimahi revisit Māori culture values, and the importance of cultural competence and safety within the workplace. This training addresses cultural responsiveness through understanding individuals, whānau and their whakapapa utilising a Māori Model of Health. It demystifies giving clear understanding to Te Wakaminenga, Declaration of Independence 1935, and Te Tiriti O Waitangi 1940. The values of Tikanga will be revisited and explored.

About: This workshop covers infection prevention control in relation to IV therapy, IV pumps and guardrails, IV medication and fluid adminstration. Blood products administration.

About: This workshop aims to provide training on the fundamental skills needed for wound care. This workshop is applicable to all Nurses and HCA's who work in both primary and secondary care, and who provide wound care to patients.
