This course covers the safe and appropriate use of the Credo (VitaPCR) analyser for the rapid detection of respiratory pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2 (COVID 19).

The overall aim of this course is to ensure staff are able to safely and confidently use the Afinion 2 analyser.

Operators of this PoCT device are required to complete a competency quiz every 12 months to maintain PoCT requirements for accreditation. Operators who fail to maintain competency requirements will be locked out of the Afinion 2 analyser and won't be able to access the device to run patient samples.

The HemoCue Hb 201 DM Analyser is a handheld point-of-care testing (POCT) device for performing haemoglobin testing on fresh capillary,venous and arterial whole blood samples.

Operators of this POCT device are required to complete a competency quiz every 12 months to maintain POCT requirements for accreditation.

Operators of this POCT device are required to complete a competency quiz every 12 months to maintain POCT requirements for accreditation.
