TrakCare - Eligibility Advanced

Eligibility is the process of determining who qualifies for publicly funded healthcare and is undertaken by all Districts across Te Whatu Ora. Eligibility Advanced training provides members of the Eligibility team with an overview of the essential functions and processes for updating patient Eligibility records within Trak Care.  

EligibilityOn completion you will be able to: 

  • Understand key changes to the eligibility process in TrakCare 

  • Navigate and update patient records within the Payor Approval Workbench 

  • Understand Eligibility Assessment processes in TrakCare 

  • Print Eligibility letters 

  • Link patient episodes to eligibility records

  • Update the Billing Method for ineligible patients

  • Review the Audit Trail for Eligibility records
