TrakCare - Advanced Ward & Bed Management

TrakCare Ward and Bed Management is about bed allocation and the provision of beds throughout the hospital. This advanced training session is for Patient Flow Facilitators only.

The TrakCare Ward and Bed solution allows the Patient Flow Facilitator (Bed Manager) to have a hospital-wide summary of all bed requests and their own workbench view from which they can manage the allocation of wards and beds in a timely way.

On completion you will be able to:

  • Create a Bed request from ED

  • Create Bed Requests from IP

  • Create a future Dated movement​

  • Familiarisation with Ward Summary / Bed Status including setting up preferences​

  • Familiarisation with Bed Request Summary including setting up preferences​

  • Integration of BEDBOARD and POWERBI​

  • Approve Bed Request​

  • Cancel Bed Request​

  • Create and Delete Bed Restriction

Who is this for: This module is for Patient Flow Facilitators only. The expectations of this course are that you will attend 1 x facilitated session of approximately 4 hours.

Time: 09:00 - 13:00 with scheduled breaks
