On completion you will be able to:

• Admit a patient not on your expected arrival list
• Admit patients coming from other daystay units and outpatient clinics
• Admit and Discharge a patient from Emergency Departments (AED and CDU) whilst retaining the Patient’s Emergency Episode Number (Visit Number)
• Transfer post operative patients to their post operative ward after they leave Transition Lounge
• Admit patients needing infusion from another service

Time: The expectations of this course are that you will attend 1 x facilitated session of approximately 2 hours.
