Who is this for: Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau kaimahi (workers) who are required to draw blood sample for haematological, biochemical or bacteriological analysis from a Midline and Central Venous Line (CVL) (Exclusion: neonates and renal patients with haemodialysis lines).

About: The overall aim of this page is to record completion of the practical competency assessment for  Midline and Central Venous Line (CVL) Blood Sampling. On completion you will be able to draw blood sample for haematological, biochemical or bacteriological analysis from a Midline and Central Venous Line (CVL) (Exclusion: neonates and renal patients with haemodialysis lines). Practical competency assessment is through observation and conversation with educator or clinical coach or other qualified assessor.
