About: This training session provides nurses with practical experience and knowledge in the accessing and de-accessing of Implanted Ports / Port-a-cath®. Participants will gain hands-on experience and theoretical understanding in the following areas: clinical indication, patient assessment, managing complications, safe accessing and de-accessing, and post-procedure care.

About: This is in-depth study day focused on the management of both peripheral & central vascular access devices. This educational event is designed to enhance nurses’ skills & knowledge in the care & management of these critical devices, ensuring optimal patient outcomes & safety. This day includes hands-on practice, interactive case studies & expert insights from vascular access clinical nurse specialists.
The ability to perform effective, good quality CPR is an essential component of a health professionals practice, or for anyone working in the health field. As such regular review of both theoretical and practical application are a necessity. This course contains information for PHO/NGO staff that are attending CM CPR refreshers. Topics include:
