Centric Whiteboards will replace CHiPS Whiteboards in both Inpatient and Emergency Department locations.

• TrakCare will provide the Administrative View of the patient and will be the system used by Ward and ED Clerks to complete their admission, transfer and discharge workflows.
  
  
• Centric will provide the Clinical View of the patient, pulling information from TrakCare and other clinical systems into one view such as status of lab results. If Clinicians need to undertake tasks in TrakCare they will be able to access through a link in Centric, making the workflow as seamless as practical. 
  
  

• Whiteboards across all Inpatient locations will be consistent and the Centric Clinical Whiteboard is the same solution used by Waitematā and Counties Manukau.
