This simulation day is designed to equip Health NZ Counties Manukau nurses with essential skills and knowledge required for effective peripheral intravenous (IV) cannulation and phlebotomy. Participants will gain hands-on experience and theoretical understanding in the following areas: vein and device selection, techniques and procedures, complication management, safety and best practice.
