About:This is a workplace-based apprenticeship programme that supports existing Healthcare Assistants and Psychiatric Assistants to gain the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) (Advanced Care and/or Mental Health and Addiction Support), while remaining employed within Health New Zealand.
Mā wai tēnei / Who is this for: Existing Healthcare Assistants and Psychiatric Assistants working within across Counties Manukau who have manager approval to participate.
Prerequisites:
- Be employed as a Healthcare Assistant or Psychiatric Assistant
- Complete an EOI
- Have manager approval to participate.
- Meet Careerforce eligibility requirements for apprenticeship enrolment
Frequency: Complete once. Repeating will refresh your knowledge but will not update your verified record of learning.
Takawā / Time: 112 hours (one session per month over 16 months)
