This course is for all WDHB health care professionals that are involved in patient care, assessment, identification and prevention of pressure injuries.
The main learning objectives of this course is to provide competent skills and knowledge required to accurately:
- Stage a pressure injury
- Assess a patients risk for injury and then implement the appropriate bundles of care
- Complete required documentation
- Report an identified pressure injury
Prior to completing these modules it is highly recommended that you read the WDHB policy on Pressure Injury Prevention & Management ‐ Adult (Policy document only available while on the WDHB internal network)
