Creating accessible documents (ADHB)

This eLearning is for anyone who creates doucments or web content and wants to ensure that the information is accessible and inclusive for everyone.

This eLearning will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

An Accessible Document is:

  • Accessible in electronic formats for people with any type of disability using a range of adaptive technology.
  • As legible as possible, either on screen or in print format.
  • Structured so that it can be converted to braille, large print, audio or other format.

By incorporating these guidelines, your documents will not only be inclusive, they will be professional, clear and easy to understand for a wide ranging audience.

If you follow the guidelines you will develop the knowledge to make your documents accessible as you write them.
