What is ISBAR Communication Framework?
- It is a standardised approach to keep conversations clear, concise and pertinent for patient referral
- It facilitates shared systematic communication model care, to prevent potential mismanagement and misunderstanding.
The course aims to:
- Develop a better understanding of the ISBAR communication framework.
- Promote conscious, structured and confident escalation of care by clinical staff at all levels.
- Improve the structure and quality (clear, concise and relevant) of clinical communication between practitioners in the hospital setting and between the hospital and the community.
