Kia ora! As part of government Evacuation Scheme Regulations, Te Toka Tumai Auckland is obliged to conduct regular trail evacuations and provide theory training for building occupants. 

Trail Evacuation is for Total Evacuation Zone only. Please check your fire action card and book the correct training. (If you are in Staged Evacuation Zone, please head to Fire Drill Training booking page)

This training should take around 30 minutes to complete and will conclude with a quick debrief with staff involved. We expect building occupants to respond to the alarm in the manner described in the Emergency Preparedness & Response Manual (EPARM) and the Warden Action Cards. 

Most of the trial evacuations will be in Total Evacuation buildings, so will not require a response from the Contact Centre, Security, Orderlies or CNMs. For the few clinical areas that will be impacted we will liaise, prior to the trial evacuation with the Contact Centre (so that the usual fire response team members and FENZ are not responded), and with the senior operational staff member on duty to ensure the drills do not compromise service delivery or patient care.
