This module provides an overview of the characteristics of hazardous drugs and principles of risk management in the workplace, including the safe handling of hazardous drugs and related waste, and the management of risk and exposure in the workplace.

Although this module is based on handling hazardous drugs in the cancer setting, the principles can be applied to any workplace setting, both in the hospital and in the community.

This module will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
