Requirements

To participate in a practical workshop, you are required to have completed two online learning modules - the Violence Intervention Programme (Pre-learning Module) & Waitematā ED Family Violence Training. 

Family Violence is an issue of fundamental importance to the health of New Zealanders.  Health care providers can make a crucial difference to identifying and supporting victims of Family violence.  We all have a role in addressing family violence in New Zealand.

This module is designed to refresh and update clinicians who have completed the Waitematā Family Violence and Child Protection training, solidifying knowledge on how to identify and respond to intimate partner violence, other forms of intra-familial violence, and child abuse and neglect.
