Biosecurity (Labplus) Advanced for Sections Certification
Background: LabPlus has approval to operate as a Transition and Containment facility for biological products of animal origin, micro-organisms and cell cultures. This means that our workers need to be aware of the requirements and operating processes for LabPlus to comply with the required standards. Sections that import and use biological material need to follow the requirements given in import permits etc

Course Aim: To deliver a training document about regulations, work practices and responsibilities within a Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) Approved Transitional and Containment Facility.

Audience: Lab staff working in Sections with imported biological material.
Assessment: Participants are required to be familiar with the training document contents and complete the assessment with a minimum 85% passmark.

Labplus ABL800 yearly Assessment - Current from 2020 July

If ADHB Lab+ staff are ill-informed on the pre-analytical and practical aspect of the ABL800 sample analysis, service users may be treated inappropriately. Therefore, it is important that you are confident about your understanding of this clinical application. Meeting the achievement standard of the test will give you this confidence and show that you understand the core aspects.
