If you have attended the Management Foundations programme, this workshop will provide a useful refresher.  Before enrolling please discuss with your manager how this course will help you meet your performance objectives.

About this course

This course focuses on developing your ability to:

  • Develop a position description and learn how to use it to produce behavioural interview questions
  • Know why we conduct behavioural interviews at Waitemata DHB
  • Lead an interview panel in using behaviour based questions
  • Know what’s required of you to help candidates respond to behavioural interview questions
  • Gain practical tips to enhance the interview process for both parties.

The course focuses on participants being flexible in using these skills. During class there is some theory, discussion and sharing of ideas, with most emphasis on demonstration and practice, in a fun and safe way.

This course is specifically for new and existing managers/team leaders responsible for recruiting and interviewing people for roles.
