Prerequisites: Completion of the Cardiology: Recording an ECG Workshop
Duration: Equivalent to 8 Hrs. of professional development training (self-paced learning)

About this course:
Kia ora! This course aims to provide a basic understanding of the interpretation and management of cardiac rhythms to clinical staff in charge of cardiac patients requiring rhythms/ECG assessments and monitoring.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the basic concepts of cardiac rhythm.
- Identify the indications for cardiac monitoring (based on Cardiac Monitoring - Telemetry Criteria).
- Perform a systematic way of rhythms/ECG interpretation.
- Recommend cardiac nursing-focused interventions and care plans for patients with rhythm abnormalities.
- Assessments (e.g. quizzes) are incorporated within the topics presented in the course.
- Complete all the topics covered and pass all assessments within each topic.
