Te Hikoi Maumahara – Connecting people to the Past

As part of Kahui o te Ihi’s Te Tiriti and Equity journey, we are asking our kaimahi to please enrol for one of the 8 Wall Walk Workshops held between February and June 2024.

LOOK TO THE PAST TO HELP FORGE THE FUTURE

The workshop raises collective awareness of key events in the history of New Zealand. The workshop is not a physical walk, it is a Marae based event, a walk through time and events.  The walk invites new or deeper consideration about particular events, and their impact for Maori and for Aotearoa New Zealand.

It is engaging and informative, conducted within a very collaborative and supportive environment.

Time: 8.15am – 2.15pm  

Registration and a light breakfast is provided from 8.15 – 8.55am with a 9am Mihi Whakatau. A light lunch is provided.
