Kia ora! The overall aim of this course is to learn some foundational skills to be rainbow responsive in the mental health support we provide.

This training will cover the following topics:

• A brief history of the community
• An overview of key terminology 
• Cultural considerations for an Aotearoa context
• The Rainbow community and mental health
• Reflections on societal norms and biases
• How to signal safety and allyship
• Being rainbow-responsive in practice
