This module provides background information for training to apply fluoride varnish to children who are recalled and referred by a dental therapist or dentist.

A practical session is required to practice the skills and techniques learnt in this module.  A locally-held Standing Order is required for dental therapists or dentists to be able to prescribe and dispense fluoride varnish to trained health care workers.
