This course is designed to introduce nursing staff (and other end users) to the Guardrails Safety Software that is installed on all Alaris volumetric pumps and syringe drivers.
Audience:  All new nursing staff (use of equipment and IV administration training) and refresher training for for those unfamiliar with Guardrails - or returning to work. 
Curricular emphases: how to access information and how to use the system to increase uptake and improve patient safety. 
Participants need to provide evidence of how to use Guardrails, how to access Guardrails administration guides - and how to feedback change requests for subsequent updates.
