• Early recognition of the child with evolving sepsis is a real challenge, but can lead to significant improvements in outcomes.
• For every hour that sepsis is left untreated the mortality rate doubles. 
• With this in mind a Sepsis Recognition Package has been developed to ensure anyone who is seen in CED, and is at risk of developing sepsis, is seen by the RIGHT people, in the RIGHT place and at the RIGHT times.
• The e-learning package will refresh your understanding of sepsis and how to recognise it. We will also introduce you to the CED Sepsis Recognition Tool.
• There are 4 modules to complete, each module must be done in full before you can move on to the next.
