MH&A- Risk Assessment Training

Risk assessment training is designed to teach participants skills in assessing service users’ risk of harm to themselves and others, the level of that risk, how to formulate a plan to promote their safety and that of others, as well as how to effectively communicate this to the service user, their whanau, and to other clinicians in writing.  It is a mandatory training for new and experienced clinicians, as it is to be attended every two years.
