This course is suitable for all Level One Awareness staff. These are classified as staff, who are employed by the maternity facility in a non-clinical or a limited clinical role, and who are in regular contact with pregnant women, mothers and their babies. e.g. reception staff, housekeepers, hearing screeners, PACU staff, social workers, physiotherapists, diabetes in pregnancy team and phlebotomists (This course is NOT for nurses and midwives working closely with pregnant and breastfeeding mothers).
