This course is for RNs, in a hospital setting, who are upskilling to be influenza peer vaccinators to support staff in their area to easily access their annual influenza vaccination. An influenza peer vaccinator, once trained, can vaccinate CCDHB staff, students and selected contractors against influenza.

Prerequisites

Have completed the CPR requirements within the last two years

Audience

This course is for RNs who have been identified by their managers as suitable candidates to train and act as an influenza peer vaccinators in their area.
