About: This is a course designed to show you how to use your body more effectively when lifting, lowering, pushing and pulling. It will involve some practical participation and staff will need to be appropriately dressed with well fitting footwear.

About: This advanced programme is for allied health staff who have completed the Allied Health Introduction to Professional Supervision course, or equivalent, and who have experience in the role of supervisor
Who is this for: Allied health staff who are experienced as supervisors and work in general health services

About: This course will build on your moving and handling skills to provide you with new techniques relevant to your work area in line with current evidence-based techniques for patient handling. It will be a hands on, practical based session and participants will need to be fit enough to participate, appropriately dressed with shorts/trousers and supportive footwear.
