Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) Education |
This course, consisting of three modules, has been designed to support health care professionals when caring for patients who have had or will have a Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) inserted.
The course aims to:
● promote standardised care for patients with a CVAD inserted.
● reduce the risk of gaps between evidence, clinical practice and policy.
● reduce variation in clinical practice.
● increase uptake of evidence into clinical care improve the experience of people with cancer and their carers.
● increase patient safety.
● reduce adverse events related to CVADs.
