Enhanced Recovery After Surgery ERAS

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) is a multimodal perioperative programme with
several evidence based care elements that, when used together, have been shown to improve patient outcomes after surgery.  Example outcomes include reduced morbidity
and length of stay.

ERAS challenges conventional concepts of surgical care and focuses on managing the key factors which delay recovery.

This course will explore the goals and protocols of the ERAS programme.
