This course will assist you to understand terms associated with renal replacement therapy.

This course requires an enrolment key which you can obtain from Erika Lackey-Ruwald or Deedee Chinyama.

This course is to orientate new DCCM registrars to the basics of management of the critically ill patient.

This course teaches the Restraint Minimisation and Safe Practice standard, its intent and relevance to practice in DCCM as required for certification.

It is expected that clinicians need to understand the requirements of the standard in relation to restraint minimisation and safe practice. 

Introduction 

The purpose of this course is to provide a learning opportunity for nursed working in DCCM to develop skills and insights to be able to Assess, Detect, Recognise, Manage and Prevent Delirium. This takes about 1 hour to complete.
