About this course
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a modified version of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Its goal is to transform destructive behaviours into positive outcomes. DBT specifically focusses on providing individuals with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships. Step 1 Dialectical Behaviour Therapy training will equip clinicians with supporting people to engage in basic DBT skills. This is part of the talking therapies skill set.
