This course provides the essential knowledge to utilise the Stereotactic Ablative Radiation Therapy (SABR) technique in accordance with ADHB Radiation Therapy best practice.
Stereotactic Ablative Radiation Therapy (SABR) is a radiation therapy treatment technique which delivers high dose per fraction treatments to extracranial sites. The e-learning modules, for a variety of sites, are for radiation oncology staff. Completion provides certificates as evidence of learning.

This course introduces Radiation Oncology staff and students to the clinical processes in the Superficial KV Treatment.
Radiation Therapy staff and students must read and electronically sign the Safe System of Work for KV as part of completing this MOODLE. This is a requirement under New Zealand Legislation; the Radiation Safety Act (2016) and the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015).
This module provides an introductory overview of the Te Toka Tumai Auckland Supervision Framework and Policy, including the purpose of supervision, and how to get the most out of your supervision.
This training module will provide you with the rationale for the use of a syringe driver and guidelines for management and care of a person with a syringe driver. It will also include information about medications and drug calculations. Audience This course programme is applicable to registered nurses practicing in a variety of settings, including hospice, hospital, aged residential care and community settings, who may need to manage people with a syringe driver. Te Hikoi Maumahara – Connecting people to the Past
As part of Kahui o te Ihi’s Te Tiriti and Equity journey, we are asking our kaimahi to please enrol for one of the 8 Wall Walk Workshops held between February and June 2024.
LOOK TO THE PAST TO HELP FORGE THE FUTURE
The workshop raises collective awareness of key events in the history of New Zealand. The workshop is not a physical walk, it is a Marae based event, a walk through time and events. The walk invites new or deeper consideration about particular events, and their impact for Maori and for Aotearoa New Zealand.
It is engaging and informative, conducted within a very collaborative and supportive environment.

Successful completion of this course is mandatory training for the Ophthalmology department staff. Prior to administering Benoxinate (Oxybuprocaine 0.4%) and Alcaine (Proxymetacaine 0.5%) under standing orders, staff in the roles named above are required to successfully complete the eAssessment and obtain the completion certificate. 
This course will provide the essential knowledge to set up the TBI couch and deliver a TBI treatment safely, confidently and consistently in accordance with ADHB RT best practice.
