About: This study day builds on the knowledge from the ‘Introduction to Haemodialysis’ study day and prepares the nurse/physiologist to care for the acutely unwell haemodialysis patient.

Who is this for: Registered Nurses and Clinical Physiologists working in Hemodialysis settings
The aim of the course is to help staff to gain knowledge and skills to identify different techniques used in accessing tunnelled lines. Following proper Hand Hygiene moments during the procedure is vital in reducing infections/cross infections. This course will help to understand the methodology, benefits and learnings from each area and use them to improve your clinical practice.

Ensuring you and your colleagues remain free from injury at work takes not only care, but specific knowledge and skills. This two-day course provides HSRs with the necessary knowledge and skills to be effective in your role.
This is a hands-on course that will give you practical strategies so that you can fulfil your role as a confident HSR.

Health of the Nation Outcome Scales for Infants (HoNOSI) is a member of the Health of the Nation Outcome Scales (HoNOS) family of measures. It is a clinician-rated tool developed by the Australian Mental Health Outcomes and Classification Network.
In New Zealand, HoNOSI is the outcome measurement tool mandated by the Ministry of Health for measuring the health and social functioning of infants (under the age of 4) accessing specialist infant mental health services.
